The story of Aiayu's highland wool blend is also the story of friendship. As trusted partners who brave the harsh mountain climate together, the llamas and highland sheep graze peacefully side by side in the Bolivian highlands, and the evolved composition of their wool complements each other perfectly. The addition of highland sheep wool gives the product a wonderful lightness, as well as a gentle off-white shade due to the sheep's natural colour.
Washing is hard on your garment and on the environment. Fortunately, llama and sheep wool are self-cleaning fibers that require less washing than other materials. Simply try airing the garment to freshen it up.
If you need to wash the garment, we recommend hand washing, 30 degrees, with high-quality wool soap. Let the garment soak in water for 10-15 minutes. Rinse in 30 degree water. Avoid wringing, squeezing or squeezing out the water, and let the garment dry flat.
If you have a very gentle washing machine, it is possible to wash the Aiayu garment in the machine on a wool program 30 degrees, low cycle. Washing in a machine is, however, at your own risk, as we cannot guarantee individual settings on washing machines.
