Cora is a cardigan with roomy sleeves and an elegant, cropped silhouette. Made of warm and durable Sartuul wool in plain knit with feminine hole details. Finished with a deep v-neck, front pockets and handmade horn buttons.
100% Sartuul wool, a rare breed of nomadic sheep from the Mongolian steppe. The wool comes from the "Green Gold" project, a Swiss development program that organizes cooperatives of nomadic herders in the Mongolian steppe. The project helps herders preserve their traditional lifestyle through artisan fiber production of Mongolian heritage - such as Sartuul and yak.
Washing is not always necessary, and it is hard on your garment and on the environment. Sartuul wool is a self-cleaning fiber that requires less washing than other materials. To save resources, simply air the garment for a refresh.
But if you want to wash the garment, we recommend hand washing, at 30 degrees, with high-quality wool soap such as Eucalan or Sonett. Let the garment soak in water for 10-15 minutes. Rinse in 30 degree water. Avoid wringing, squeezing or squeezing out the water and let the garment dry flat. Steam at medium temperature for a nice finish.
If you have a very gentle washing machine, it is possible to wash the Aiayu garment in the machine on a wool program 30 degrees, low cycle. Washing in a machine is, however, at your own risk, as we cannot guarantee individual program settings on washing machines.
